What is a Virus-Like Particle
(VLP)?
VLPs are genetically-engineered, self-assembled
protein spheres made from recombinant viral proteins. These three
dimensional, multi-antigen particles have already proven to be
safer and more effective as preventative vaccines and immunotherapies
when compared to recombinant protein, DNA, or viral-vectored vaccines.
